F3conditional

Model Integrity Verification

Is the network's internal model of itself still accurate — or has model drift occurred since the last calibration?

Law IV: Technology Transition RiskLaw VI: Observability Asymmetry

If Absent

Autonomous network decisions are made against a degraded model. Optimisation actions may worsen conditions they intend to improve. The longer drift goes undetected, the larger the correction required.

At L4 — Autonomous Networks

drift-detection-critical

F3 is the only function that becomes more critical at L4 than at L1. As autonomy increases, the cost of model drift increases proportionally. F3 is the L4-only use case anchor — without it, autonomous networks cannot be trusted.
